# Tapatalk vs NABA

The clearest difference is review sentiment: NABA at 100% against Tapatalk's 49%. NABA also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and ads (none vs shown). Tapatalk's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (16K vs 145). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tapatalk sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month and NABA sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NABA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tapatalk has 16K ratings behind it against 145, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 49% of Tapatalk's written reviews are positive against 100% of NABA's.

Tapatalk ships an update every 3 weeks, NABA every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and June 10, 2026 respectively.
