# Tapatalk vs Lima Flight

The clearest difference is ads: Lima Flight at none against Tapatalk's shown. Lima Flight also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and review sentiment (75% vs 49%). Tapatalk's advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 9). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tapatalk sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month and Lima Flight sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lima Flight holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tapatalk has 16K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 49% of Tapatalk's written reviews are positive against 75% of Lima Flight's.

Tapatalk ships an update every 2 weeks, Lima Flight fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
