# Tapatalk vs WatchLink

The clearest difference is review sentiment: WatchLink at 100% against Tapatalk's 49%. WatchLink also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and ads (none vs shown). Tapatalk's advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 63) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tapatalk sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month and WatchLink sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $299.00 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WatchLink holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tapatalk has 16K ratings behind it against 63, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 49% of Tapatalk's written reviews are positive against 100% of WatchLink's.

Tapatalk ships an update every 2 weeks, WatchLink every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
