# Tapatalk vs LinkConnect

The clearest difference is rating: LinkConnect at 5.0 against Tapatalk's 4.4. LinkConnect also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). Tapatalk's advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 2). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tapatalk sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month. LinkConnect asks for nothing beyond the download.

LinkConnect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tapatalk has 16K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
