# BrainWave vs Master

The clearest difference is ratings volume: BrainWave at 1.4K against Master's 20. BrainWave also leads on price ($4.99 vs $9.99). On rating, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

BrainWave costs $4.99 and Master $9.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for BrainWave against 4.9 for Master. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BrainWave has 1.4K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 90% of BrainWave's written reviews are positive against 89% of Master's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
