# GG vs E.

The clearest difference is review sentiment: E. at 100% against GG's 29%. E. also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). GG's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 2.1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GG sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and E. sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GG holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GG has 57 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of GG's written reviews are positive against 100% of E.'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GG ships an update fortnightly, E. every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
