# GG vs Wykop

The clearest difference is rating: GG at 4.1 against Wykop's 1.0. GG also leads on ratings volume (74 vs 6). Wykop's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GG sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Wykop asks for nothing beyond the download.

GG holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GG has 74 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of GG's written reviews are positive against 38% of Wykop's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GG ships an update fortnightly, Wykop every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
