# Proloquo2Go AAC vs ProPA

The clearest difference is price: ProPA at $49.99 against Proloquo2Go AAC's $249.99. ProPA also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (100% vs 86%). Proloquo2Go AAC's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (12K vs 3). On update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Proloquo2Go AAC costs $249.99 and ProPA $49.99 up front. Proloquo2Go AAC sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. ProPA asks for nothing beyond the download.

Proloquo2Go AAC holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Proloquo2Go AAC has 12K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Proloquo2Go AAC's written reviews are positive against 100% of ProPA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Proloquo2Go AAC ships an update every 3 months, ProPA every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
