# BrainWave vs Peak Roster

The clearest difference is price: Peak Roster at Free against BrainWave's $4.99. Peak Roster also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). BrainWave's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Peak Roster is free to download; BrainWave costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for BrainWave against 5.0 for Peak Roster. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BrainWave has 1.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BrainWave ships an update every 2 months, Peak Roster every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
