# D'Chords vs Fender Pro Control

The clearest difference is rating: Fender Pro Control at 3.2 against D'Chords's 2.6. Fender Pro Control also leads on ratings volume (59 vs 8) and device support (4 vs 2). D'Chords's advantage is review sentiment (63% vs 45%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fender Pro Control holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fender Pro Control has 59 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of D'Chords's written reviews are positive against 45% of Fender Pro Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

D'Chords ships an update every 3 months, Fender Pro Control every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
