# iSession vs Osmo Projector

The clearest difference is ads: iSession at none against Osmo Projector's shown. iSession also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and device support (3 vs 1). Osmo Projector's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (7 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Osmo Projector holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of iSession's written reviews are positive against 33% of Osmo Projector's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iSession ships an update every 5 weeks, Osmo Projector every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 6, 2026.
