# Azkend vs Rover Quest

The clearest difference is price: Rover Quest at Free against Azkend's $2.99. Rover Quest also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 86%). Azkend's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.0) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On device support there is nothing between them.

Rover Quest is free to download; Azkend costs $2.99 up front. Rover Quest sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Azkend asks for nothing beyond the download.

Azkend holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Azkend has 16 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Azkend's written reviews are positive against 100% of Rover Quest's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Azkend ships an update every 5 months, Rover Quest every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
