# iPieta vs Truthly

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: iPieta at none against Truthly's 12. Truthly's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.7) and ratings volume (6.3K vs 510). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Truthly sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. iPieta asks for nothing beyond the download.

Truthly holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Truthly has 6.3K ratings behind it against 510, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of iPieta's written reviews are positive against 82% of Truthly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iPieta ships an update fortnightly, Truthly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
