# Packing Pro vs Packaholic

The clearest difference is price: Packaholic at Free against Packing Pro's $2.99. Packaholic also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Packing Pro's advantage is ratings volume (858 vs 9) and chart position (#29 vs unranked). On ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Packaholic is free to download; Packing Pro costs $2.99 up front. Packing Pro sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Packaholic sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Packaholic holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Packing Pro has 858 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 88% of Packing Pro's written reviews are positive against 100% of Packaholic's.

Packing Pro ships an update every 4 months, Packaholic weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
