# Sunday Lawn vs Vector Classic

The clearest difference is ads: Sunday Lawn at none against Vector Classic's shown. Sunday Lawn also leads on review sentiment (88% vs 55%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). Vector Classic's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 9 months). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Sunday Lawn costs $0.99 and Vector Classic $0.99 up front. Sunday Lawn sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Vector Classic sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vector Classic holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.3K and 2.8K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Sunday Lawn's written reviews are positive against 55% of Vector Classic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sunday Lawn ships an update every 9 months, Vector Classic every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
