# E! News vs Map't

The clearest difference is ads: Map't at none against E! News's shown. Map't also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and device support (3 vs 1). E! News's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 15 months) and ratings volume (48K vs 4). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Map't holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: E! News has 48K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

E! News ships an update every 5 weeks, Map't every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
