# PalmAgent ONE vs Rentec Direct

The clearest difference is rating: PalmAgent ONE at 4.9 against Rentec Direct's 4.3. PalmAgent ONE also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 17 months) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 7). Rentec Direct's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 64%) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PalmAgent ONE sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Rentec Direct asks for nothing beyond the download.

PalmAgent ONE holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PalmAgent ONE has 1.3K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of PalmAgent ONE's written reviews are positive against 100% of Rentec Direct's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PalmAgent ONE ships an update fortnightly, Rentec Direct every 17 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
