# Off Remote vs Bro

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bro at every 2 days against Off Remote's every 2 weeks. Bro also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 56). Off Remote's advantage is review sentiment (56% vs 37%) and device support (4 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Off Remote sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Bro sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.8 for Off Remote against 3.7 for Bro. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bro has 1.1K ratings behind it against 56, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 56% of Off Remote's written reviews are positive against 37% of Bro's.

Off Remote ships an update every 2 weeks, Bro every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
