# Note Tutor vs Note Quest

The clearest difference is rating: Note Quest at 4.5 against Note Tutor's 3.7. Note Quest also leads on ratings volume (620 vs 7). Note Tutor's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and review sentiment (77% vs 52%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note Quest sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Note Tutor asks for nothing beyond the download.

Note Quest holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Note Quest has 620 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Note Tutor's written reviews are positive against 52% of Note Quest's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
