# Note Tutor vs Noted

The clearest difference is rating: Noted at 4.6 against Note Tutor's 3.5. Note Tutor's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 16 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Noted sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Note Tutor asks for nothing beyond the download.

Noted holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 13 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Note Tutor's written reviews are positive against 75% of Noted's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Note Tutor ships an update every 2 months, Noted every 16 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
