# Note Tutor vs Rhythm

The clearest difference is rating: Rhythm at 4.7 against Note Tutor's 3.7. Rhythm also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (340 vs 7). Note Tutor's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rhythm holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rhythm has 340 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Note Tutor's written reviews are positive against 68% of Rhythm's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Note Tutor ships an update every 2 months, Rhythm every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
