# ÖBB Scotty vs Schönbrunn

The clearest difference is rating: Schönbrunn at 4.7 against ÖBB Scotty's 2.9. Schönbrunn also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (133 vs 11). ÖBB Scotty's advantage is review sentiment (48% vs 26%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Schönbrunn holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Schönbrunn has 133 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of ÖBB Scotty's written reviews are positive against 26% of Schönbrunn's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ÖBB Scotty ships an update every 6 months, Schönbrunn monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
