# iBomber vs Boom Blast

iBomber and Boom Blast both sit at 3.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 82% of iBomber's written reviews are positive against 16% of Boom Blast's. iBomber also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). Boom Blast's advantage is price (Free vs $2.99) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Boom Blast is free to download; iBomber costs $2.99 up front. iBomber sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Boom Blast sells 14 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iBomber holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Boom Blast has 778 ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 82% of iBomber's written reviews are positive against 16% of Boom Blast's.

iBomber ships an update every 2 months, Boom Blast fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
