# FlightAware Flight Tracker vs Schiphol

The clearest difference is ratings volume: FlightAware Flight Tracker at 391K against Schiphol's 65. FlightAware Flight Tracker also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and chart position (#27 vs unranked). Schiphol's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlightAware Flight Tracker sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Schiphol sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlightAware Flight Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FlightAware Flight Tracker has 391K ratings behind it against 65, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FlightAware Flight Tracker ships an update monthly, Schiphol fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
