# Codebook Password Manager vs Locker Pro

The clearest difference is monetization model: Codebook Password Manager at free with in-app purchases against Locker Pro's subscription. Codebook Password Manager also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 8 months) and review sentiment (87% vs 64%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Codebook Password Manager sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.00 per month and Locker Pro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
