# Rejseplan vs Metroen

The clearest difference is rating: Metroen at 5.0 against Rejseplan's 4.3. Metroen also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Rejseplan's advantage is ratings volume (136 vs 5) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Metroen holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rejseplan has 136 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Rejseplan ships an update every 4 months, Metroen every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
