# Blue Block Premium vs Everdell

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Everdell at 2.9K against Blue Block Premium's 16. Everdell also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and chart position (#17 vs #186). Blue Block Premium's advantage is price ($4.99 vs $9.99). On rating, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Blue Block Premium costs $4.99 and Everdell $9.99 up front. Blue Block Premium sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Everdell sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Everdell holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Everdell has 2.9K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Blue Block Premium's written reviews are positive against 76% of Everdell's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Blue Block Premium ships an update every 3 months, Everdell every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
