# Flight Update Pro vs myFlights

The clearest difference is monetization model: myFlights at freemium against Flight Update Pro's subscription. myFlights also leads on review sentiment (82% vs 59%) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). Flight Update Pro's advantage is ratings volume (5.3K vs 13) and chart position (#65 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flight Update Pro sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and myFlights sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

myFlights holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flight Update Pro has 5.3K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 59% of Flight Update Pro's written reviews are positive against 82% of myFlights's.

Flight Update Pro ships an update monthly, myFlights every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
