# Flight Update Pro vs Flight Tracker AI+

The clearest difference is monetization model: Flight Tracker AI+ at free with in-app purchases against Flight Update Pro's subscription. Flight Tracker AI+ also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). Flight Update Pro's advantage is ratings volume (5.3K vs 25) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flight Update Pro sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Flight Tracker AI+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flight Update Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flight Update Pro has 5.3K ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Flight Update Pro ships an update monthly, Flight Tracker AI+ every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
