# Crostix vs Cryptogram Nature Facts

The clearest difference is ads: Crostix at none against Cryptogram Nature Facts's shown. Crostix also leads on update cadence (every 4 months vs every 10 months). Cryptogram Nature Facts's advantage is ratings volume (240 vs 7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Crostix sells 15 one-off in-app purchases and Cryptogram Nature Facts sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Crostix against 4.8 for Cryptogram Nature Facts. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cryptogram Nature Facts has 240 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.
