# Fractions Calculator vs Preply

The clearest difference is price: Preply at Free against Fractions Calculator's $0.99. Preply also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (45K vs 2). Fractions Calculator's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 53%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.4). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Preply is free to download; Fractions Calculator costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Preply holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Preply has 45K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Fractions Calculator's written reviews are positive against 53% of Preply's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fractions Calculator ships an update every 5 months, Preply weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
