# WFUV vs KEXP

WFUV and KEXP both sit at 4.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 42% of KEXP's written reviews are positive against 13% of WFUV's. KEXP also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (263 vs 22). WFUV's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.0 for WFUV against 3.9 for KEXP.
