# AppBox Pro vs ToolBox

The clearest difference is rating: ToolBox at 4.4 against AppBox Pro's 3.1. ToolBox also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1K vs 232). AppBox Pro's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (55% vs 32%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AppBox Pro sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and ToolBox sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ToolBox holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 232 and 1K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of AppBox Pro's written reviews are positive against 32% of ToolBox's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AppBox Pro ships an update every 2 weeks, ToolBox every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
