# Wildland Toolkit vs FireRoster

Wildland Toolkit and FireRoster both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Wildland Toolkit's written reviews are positive against 0% of FireRoster's. Wildland Toolkit also leads on ratings volume (330 vs 1) and chart position (#123 vs unranked). FireRoster's advantage is price (Free vs $5.99) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.5). On rating, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

FireRoster is free to download; Wildland Toolkit costs $5.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FireRoster holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wildland Toolkit has 330 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Wildland Toolkit's written reviews are positive against 0% of FireRoster's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wildland Toolkit ships an update every 2 weeks, FireRoster every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
