# CLZ Games vs Winston Classic

The clearest difference is monetization model: Winston Classic at free with in-app purchases against CLZ Games's subscription. Winston Classic also leads on review sentiment (95% vs 74%). CLZ Games's advantage is ratings volume (1.6K vs 55). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CLZ Games sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Winston Classic sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CLZ Games holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CLZ Games has 1.6K ratings behind it against 55, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of CLZ Games's written reviews are positive against 95% of Winston Classic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CLZ Games ships an update weekly, Winston Classic every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
