# Chess vs Chess Clock Premium

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Chess Clock Premium at none against Chess's 4. Chess's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 75 months) and ratings volume (39K vs 9). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chess sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Chess Clock Premium asks for nothing beyond the download.
