# Brain Blast Trainer vs Car Tangle

The clearest difference is ads: Brain Blast Trainer at none against Car Tangle's shown. Brain Blast Trainer also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Car Tangle's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 16 months) and ratings volume (597 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Brain Blast Trainer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Car Tangle has 597 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Brain Blast Trainer's written reviews are positive against 60% of Car Tangle's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Brain Blast Trainer ships an update every 16 months, Car Tangle every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
