# clockVetica vs Alarm Clock HD

The clearest difference is review sentiment: clockVetica at 80% against Alarm Clock HD's 32%. clockVetica also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.9 vs 4.5). Alarm Clock HD's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (104K vs 10). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. clockVetica sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Alarm Clock HD sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

clockVetica holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alarm Clock HD has 104K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.
