# Klondike Forever vs Klondike

The clearest difference is ads: Klondike Forever at none against Klondike's shown. Klondike Forever also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). Klondike's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (141 vs 42). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Klondike holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 42 and 141 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Klondike Forever's written reviews are positive against 86% of Klondike's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Klondike Forever ships an update every 2 weeks, Klondike monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
