# Dexigner vs Medium

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Dexigner at none against Medium's 6. Dexigner also leads on review sentiment (90% vs 63%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). Medium's advantage is ratings volume (157K vs 96) and chart position (#19 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Medium sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Dexigner asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Dexigner against 4.8 for Medium. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Medium has 157K ratings behind it against 96, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 90% of Dexigner's written reviews are positive against 63% of Medium's.

Dexigner ships an update every 2 weeks, Medium weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
