# Awesome Note 2 vs PDF Factory Plus

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Awesome Note 2 at 74% against PDF Factory Plus's 25%. Awesome Note 2 also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 26 months). PDF Factory Plus's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Factory Plus sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Awesome Note 2 asks for nothing beyond the download.

PDF Factory Plus holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Awesome Note 2 has 593 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Awesome Note 2's written reviews are positive against 25% of PDF Factory Plus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
