# LiveAuctioneers vs Chrono Hunter

The clearest difference is rating: LiveAuctioneers at 4.8 against Chrono Hunter's 3.0. LiveAuctioneers also leads on ratings volume (11K vs 2). Chrono Hunter's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 22%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LiveAuctioneers holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LiveAuctioneers has 11K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of LiveAuctioneers's written reviews are positive against 50% of Chrono Hunter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LiveAuctioneers ships an update every 5 weeks, Chrono Hunter every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
