# FingerBeat vs FlipDeck

The clearest difference is update cadence: FlipDeck at every 3 days against FingerBeat's every 2 months. FingerBeat's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FingerBeat sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.49 per month and FlipDeck sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FingerBeat ships an update every 2 months, FlipDeck every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
