# PathPix Lite vs Colour Nonograms

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: PathPix Lite at none against Colour Nonograms's 6. PathPix Lite also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). Colour Nonograms's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 17 months) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Colour Nonograms sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. PathPix Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

Colour Nonograms holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Colour Nonograms has 67 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of PathPix Lite's written reviews are positive against 79% of Colour Nonograms's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PathPix Lite ships an update every 17 months, Colour Nonograms every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on August 15, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
