# Guru Maps vs Offline GPS Navigation

The clearest difference is rating: Guru Maps at 4.7 against Offline GPS Navigation's 4.0. Guru Maps also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 4 months). Offline GPS Navigation's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Guru Maps sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Offline GPS Navigation sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Guru Maps holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Guru Maps has 3K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
