# Guru Maps vs Navitel Navigator

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Guru Maps at 76% against Navitel Navigator's 24%. Guru Maps also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (3K vs 3). Navitel Navigator's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Guru Maps sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Navitel Navigator sells 20 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Navitel Navigator holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Guru Maps has 3K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Guru Maps's written reviews are positive against 24% of Navitel Navigator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Guru Maps ships an update every 10 days, Navitel Navigator every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
