# Guru Maps vs NavOffroad

The clearest difference is price: Guru Maps at Free against NavOffroad's $9.99. Guru Maps also leads on ratings volume (2.9K vs 4) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Guru Maps is free to download; NavOffroad costs $9.99 up front. Guru Maps sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and NavOffroad sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
