# Guru Maps vs AllTracks

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: AllTracks at none against Guru Maps's 6. AllTracks also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (12.2 vs 15.0). Guru Maps's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (3K vs 1). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Guru Maps sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. AllTracks asks for nothing beyond the download.

AllTracks holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Guru Maps has 3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Guru Maps ships an update every 10 days, AllTracks every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
