# FutaView vs Bitfan

The clearest difference is price: Bitfan at Free against FutaView's $2.99. Bitfan also leads on rating (3.0 vs 1.0) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months). FutaView's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 21) and review sentiment (38% vs 4%). On ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Bitfan is free to download; FutaView costs $2.99 up front. Bitfan sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. FutaView asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bitfan holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bitfan has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of FutaView's written reviews are positive against 4% of Bitfan's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FutaView ships an update every 2 months, Bitfan every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
