# Meditation Timer vs Macros

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Macros at none against Meditation Timer's 8. Macros also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Meditation Timer sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. Macros asks for nothing beyond the download.
